Presidents Message

Welcome to the Imagine Charter at Plantion PTO!  The mission of our PTO is to enhance and support the educational experience of our students, teachers, families, and entire school community through fundraising efforts, special events, family nights, contests, and in-school programs.  As an Imagine Charter at Plantation parent, we hope you will join our group!

Last year, our PTO raised over $80,000!  Some of our accomplishments included:

  • Providing annual teacher stipends for classroom materials and “wish list” supplies.
  • Purchasing Keep n’ Track, which does background checks on all visitors and volunteers.
  • Purchasing Kindles for a Back to School raffle for students who complete summer homework.
  • Offering financial support for iReady, our school’s new online reading and math curriculum.
  • Hosting fundraisers, including coupon book and cookie dough sales, candy grams, a holiday boutique, dine-outs at local eateries, and more.
  • Collecting Box Tops and hosting Box Tops collection contests throughout the year.
  • Funding in-house fieldtrips, including High Touch High Tech, The Teddy Bear Clinic, and more.
  • Running weekly “Ice Cream Wednesday” and “Pizza Friday” fundraisers.
  • Hosting two Scholastic Book Fairs, Blizzard Bingo Family Night, Publix Math Night, and Teacher Appreciation Week.
  • Making standardized test “survival kits” for students in the spring.

Imagine Charter at Plantation requires all families to volunteer 30 hours per year.  Joining the PTO and getting involved in our programs and events is a great way to support our school and complete your required volunteer hours.  If you have not yet paid your 2014-2015 membership dues ($30 per family), click on the “2014-2015 PTO Membership Dues Form” link below to download, print, and fill out the form.

If you’d like to stay up-to-date on PTO-sponsored programs and initiatives throughout the school year, including volunteer opportunities, fundraisers, special events, in-house fieldtrips, dress down days, and contests, click on the “PTO Email Permission Form” link below to download, print, and fill out the form.
